The Scalable Video Switch is a fully customizable, user upgradable automatic analog video switching solution.

The base configuration supports up to 32 input modules and up to 6 output modules in any combination of SCART, Component, VGA, and Composite/S-Video. It also supports optical digital audio through the optional Toslink upgrade modules.

Auto switching is achieved through sync signal detection. Just power on the console you want to play and the switch will do the rest!

Base

Every SVS starts here. The Control Module is the brain of the system: it powers the whole switch over USB-C, detects modules as you add them, and handles switching automatically through sync detection. Just power on the console you want to play and the switch does the rest. Grab one Control Module, then build out your inputs and outputs from there. You can add more modules at any time and the switch will recognize them on the next power-up.

Transcoders

The SVS passes video through untouched, which keeps your signal pure but means an RGB source stays RGB even through a Component output. When your console's format and your display don't match, add a transcoder: RGB to YPbPr feeds component-only TVs and scalers from SCART sources, while YPbPr to RGB brings component consoles into RGB monitors and scalers. Slot one into your stack and the switch handles conversion exactly where you need it.

Toslink

Add optical digital audio to your build. Toslink Input modules carry digital audio from consoles with optical output, and the Toslink Output module passes the active input's audio to your receiver, DAC, or soundbar. These work as a pair: Toslink Outputs only carry digital audio from inputs that have Toslink Inputs connected, so plan for both sides of the connection. Analog audio is not converted to digital.

Accessories

Extras that make your switch easier to live with. The SVS Remote puts input selection in your hand, so you can change sources from the couch without touching the stack.
